Chandrika Dixit, who is known as the Vada Pav Girl is one of the popular contestants of Bigg Boss OTT 3.  While she claims to make around 40K a day selling tasty vada pavs in Delhi’s Sainik Vihar, her past was not as fortunate. Chandrika Dixit told Ranvir Shorey and Munisha Khatwani that her mother passed away when she was six months old. Her father became an alcoholic after the demise of his wife. It seems he would keep her at his relatives’ homes and lead his life in his own way. Chandrika Dixit said that her nani (maternal grandmother) adopted her officially when she was around eight or nine years old. It seems she found out that Chandrika was being shuffled around homes of relatives. Talking to Shorey and Khatwani, she said she deeply resented her father. It seems none of the relatives treated her well. She said she would always get the last roti left for the day. Even Sai Ketan Rao has had a tough childhood. He said he did not have a father figure in his life. It seems his father abandoned the family when his sister and he were kids. His mother had to raise them up single-handedly. Despite these challenges his mother ensured that they got a sound education and comfortable life. The actor who has been on shows like Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali, Chashni and Imlie said that he hides his true emotions way too much.
