Malaysia vs Vietnam AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers tonight – LRT Bukit Jalil operations not extended

Malaysia will take on Vietnam in an AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifying match tonight (June 10) at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, and it is anticipated that a large crowd will show up for the game.

As usual with big football matches, Rapid KL will cater to fans with extended LRT operation hours? Not this time, though. The rail operator says that LRT Ampang/Sri Petaling Line operations from the Bukit Jalil LRT station will be normal tonight, which means that the station will close at 11.54 pm. Rapid KL reminds riders to use Touch n Go cards and ensure that there’s sufficient credit.

This is Harimau Malaya’s second match in Group F of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers after beating Nepal 2-0 in their first game. Vietnam trashed Laos 5-0 in their first game, putting the Golden Dragons in the group’s box seat by virtue of goal difference. Malaysia, led by coach Peter Cklamovski, is boosted by the presence of five ‘Grade A’ naturalised players, but wins against Vietnam have been rare in recent times. Good luck guys!
